Preparation for India

What to Bring with you for India

Natural medicines suggested to bring:

  • Nutri-Biotic with activated charcoal (to protect against malaria)
  • Essential Oil Of Oregano (for internal consumption - powerful anti-biotic) vegetable capsule Pranarom (easier to transport)
  • Zinc tablets (for any flu-like symptoms)
  • Digestive Enzymes and laxative
  • Hysdrate capsule (strong antibiotic)
  • Melatonin (for sleep on the plane, suggested 3mg)
  • Pranarom anti-nausea essential oils (nausea or product for transport)
  • Tylenol, chemical removers, something for flu-like symptoms

Natural medicine suggested to take 1 month before departure:

  • Moducare (reinforces the immune system – similar product)
  • Eleuthero Ginseng capsule (adaptive plant - it will allow your system to adjust to climate change.)
  • Vitamin C: 1000mg per day

What to put in your suitcase:

  • Hand sanitizer
  • Essential oils to ward off mosquitoes (or chemical) + lavender oil
  • Natural Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat
  • Sandals that are easy to remove and good walking shoes
  • Bathing suit and light towel that dries quickly
  • Shampoo and conditioner (small container, we buy there)
  • Paper handkerchiefs, and a roll of toilet paper (because it is washed with water and left hands there)
  • Yoga clothes, comfortable pants and long-sleeve shirts (shorts OK)
  • Bring a warm sweater and a pair of warm socks
***DO NOT BRING TOO MANY CLOTHES***
  • Early morning wake up alarm because we will wake up early (one per room)
  • A money belt to put money around your waist
(***This is very important to store your passport, money and credit card(s)***)
  • A lock for your room's door (1 lock per room)
  • Waterproof jacket (as cheap as $ 1 at a store)
  • Flashlight (important for the morning)
  • Adapter for your electronics (India sockets are same as in the UK 220vlt)
  • Small blanket or shawl for evening and morning (they are cool)
  • Light sleeping bag (it is better to sleep in your sheets)
  • Small backpack for day trips
  • Disinfecting wipes (such as for children) to wash your hands
  • If you wear glasses, bring some clips for holding your glasses.

Note: You can take the vaccines if you wish, but I personally have never taken the vaccine and I've never had a problem.

Travel insurance:

I always advise that people purchase travel insurance. I advise you to check with the credit card with which you purchased your ticket, as insurance is often included for travel (or your work).

A FEW DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE, I WILL ADVISE YOU OF THE ANTICIPATED WEATHER FORECAST SO THAT YOU CAN BETTER PREPARE.
