Mayapur India itinerary

This is a unique opportunity to discover cities, sacred temples of India, and take part in a journey that will take you back to your inner source of beauty, fullness and grace.

The cost includes:

• 3 vegetarian meals per day (excluding bottled water and juice, tea, drink ...)
• Hotel room, middle class in India
• Transportation: round trip international airfare as well as domestic travel within India – plain and 1st class train, private bus with ac, rickshaws and taxis.
• Guided pilgrimage in the holy places
• Attending staff during the trip to handle our luggage and personal belongings.
• Hatha Yoga, Prana Yoga and Japa Yoga Maha Mantra with the tradition of Bhakti Yoga
• Courses in singing (kirtan) with Indian traditional instruments

Agenda planned for this pilgrimage:

• Arrive in India at Calcutta airport (also spelled Kolkata)
• A private bus will escort us to Mayapur, a holy city located two hours north-west of Kolkata.
• We will stay 4 days in Mayapur, visiting several holy places and and we will descend the sacred river by boat, so the opportunity to attend several Puja (sacred ceremony with singing, morning noon and night), a private class with Swami Bodhayan and much, much more...
• Departure by bus to Kolkata and then we will take an domestic flight from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar.
• In Bhubaneswar we will take a private bus to Jagannath Puri, a holy city on the edge of the Indian Ocean, located in Orissa, where the colors and architecture are renowned worldwide.
• We will stay 6 days in Jagannath Puri, where temple dances (Odissi) have been channeled from Goddesses of the spiritual world. We will also visit the Temple of the Sun, which is an archaeological enigma.
• Return flight to Kolkata, and then we will return to Mayapur to remain four days to deepen our knowledge of the Vedic philosophy. You can take courses in Sanskrit and we will visit other sacred shrines and learn traditional songs.
• We then return to Kolkata on 16th in the evening to fly back to Montreal the next morning.
